USA—  Dscoop the users group for Hewlett Packard has appointed Keith Wilmot as it's new Cheif Executive Officer. Wilmot has spent 20 years in marketing with a number of international brands such as Coca-Cola, Listerine and Ocean Spray. His last job was Coca-Cola as Vice President of Creativity and Insight. Wilmot founded and launched IGNITOR, an internal creativity and innovation approach that is now a registered trademark of Coca-Cola. Dscoop ( Digital Solutions Co-operative ) was one of the first major users groups for a digital press manufacture. Originally started for the Indigo presses users it has expanded to encompass most of HP's equipment for the graphic arts industry. They hold a major conference and trade show each year. The last one was in Phoenix. Dscoop is independent  but gets alot of sponsorship money from HP. Canon, EFI and Konica Minolta all have users groups now.
