TORONTO— Designedge Canada is accepting entries for its first-ever Packaging Awards.

The awards were created to champion excellence in packaging design and production innovations and is open to Canadian producers of packaging.

“We are excited to introduce an awards program that recognizes excellence in this category,” Filomena Tamburri, group publisher at C. J. Oyster Publishing and publisher of Designedge Canada, said. "Packaging is a vibrant segment, full of inspiring innovations, so we’re pleased to be able to showcase and recognize the contributions that designers are making in this area.”

Awards will be handed out in 15 categories and three special categories:
