PDI group to merge with Imagerie DB, LVP
MONTREAL—The PDI Group has entered into an agreement through its wholly subsidiary Trans-Optique Inc., to merge its large format printing operations with those of Imagerie DB Inc., and LVP.ca Inc.

All three companies will begin pooling resources, while working towards a commercial agreement, and will move into a new facility, under a new name, PDI Large Format Solutions Inc., in early summer.

"LVP's proven strength and experience in creative conceptualizations and consultative approach to customer service will enable customers to utilize truly unique sign and display capabilities to empower their brands and communication strategies, " Francis Tellier, president of LVP.ca Inc., said.

The companies believe the merger will result in an industry offering with a robust production platform, giving clients the widest range of large format services available.

PDI Inc., is Quebec’s largest independent sheet-fed printing company providing integrated print solutions, pre-media, offset, digital and large format print production, web-to-print, as well as fulfillment, warehousing and direct mail services to clients in Canada and the U.S. In 2014 PDI acquired Trans-Optique, a Montreal-based wide format printer.

Imagerie DB Inc., has an extensive background in pre-press, offering top quality printing. For over 14 years the company has expanded and diversified its product line through the acquisition of new equipment.

LVP.ca is a large format digital print provider that aims to do three things: make a great impression, give life to surfaces and to maximize the visibility of its clients. With over 20 years in the industry, LVP offers complete service, including design, installation and expert advice.
