Rolland Enterprises says goodbye to Lucien Rolland
ST-JéRôME, QC—

Lucien Rolland, former president of Rolland Enterprises (1952-1994) has passed away. The company issued the following statement on the loss of this great man last week.

Rolland Enterprises would like to acknowledge the exceptional contribution of Lucien Rolland within the company, but also to the entire paper industry. This incredible man who played an important part in our history sadly passed away earlier this week.

Mr. Lucien G. Rolland died at the venerable age of 99. A talented businessman, he was part of the fourth generation of his family to grow the company, for which he was president from 1952 to 1994. He helped the Rolland Paper Company transition into the modern era and was also the last president to bear the "Rolland" family name.

"I keep a lasting memory of Lucien. He was a proud and passionate man," mentioned Philip Rundle, President of Rolland Enterprises. "He was especially happy with the return of the Rolland company name. His work, as well as the one of many of his family members, will continue to be remembered and associated with quality and innovation. Rest in peace Lucien, our thoughts go out to your family."
