TORONTO— Southwest Bindings, a manufacturer of document binding supplies, has purchased Tops Products Canada/ Esselte custom index tab division (formerly known as Postfax).

The transaction specifically involves the tab divider assets, which were located in Tops’ Mississauga facility.

Southwest has been in the binding industry for 36 years, providing print finishing equipment, and presentation and branding materials. The company has seven locations across Canada: Toronto (head office), Mississauga, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.

With this acquisition, Southwest has increased its index tab manufacturing capacity by 60%. This is Southwest's second acquisition of 2016.
