K-North Services rebrands as KOMCAN
ONTARIO—K-North Services Inc. is rebranding as KOMCAN, effective Dec.1. The company says the new name better reflects its position in the marketplace and will help customers better identify them as the sole authorized agent for Tokyo-based Komori printing presses and auxiliary equipment in Ontario and Western Canada. KOMCAN will continue to offer Komori’s complete line, OEM parts and consumable products.
Changing times in the printing industry and the company’s close relantionship with Komori is what pushed KOMCAN to rebrand. Komori has recently diversified into various printing markets including printed electronics and KOMCAN plans to take advantage of its new offerings.
“KOMCAN recently sold the first Komori GLX40 press in North America and has seen rapid growth of press sales throughout its region.” KOMCAN president Steve Ranson said. “It is a very exciting time for Komori and KOMCAN. We will continue to show Canada the proven reliabilty and performance of Komori presses, and we are proud to be a 100% Canadian owned company. With our outstanding sales and service team we will continue to offer our customers the high level of quality and service they have come to expect.”
