CANstruction opens in Vancouver
VANCOUVER—If you're in the West Coast over the next couple of days, make time for the newest edition of CANstruction Vancouver, the local adaptation of the global anti-hunger project that was  brought to the city by MET Fine Printers.

The event has been held in more than 140 cities worldwide. The art competition showcases 19 huge structures made entirely of full cans of food at three locales: The Pendulum Gallery, The Rotunda at Pacific Center and The Four Seasons Hotel. When the exhibition closes, the food is donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.

“Inspired by our theme “Around the world,” we have astronauts, airplanes, ships, postcards, spiritual moons and travelling gnomes on display,” said Scott Gray, chair of CANstruction Vancouver.
