Exports fall but imports steady in May
OTTAWA—Canadian printing exports slid more than 11% in May compared to the previous year, while imports rose 2% over May 2012.
Exports to the U.S. were $52.2 million in May, down from $58.5 million in 2012. Imports during the same corresponding periods hiked from $61.2 million to $69.2 million.
The trade balance is down 27%.
