Best Buy, Future Shop renew TC contract
MONTREAL—TC Transcontinental has extended its contract to provide flyer printing services to Best Buy and Future Shop to March 2015.
Previously scheduled to end in March 2014, the contract's scope has also been expanded to include distribution, covering Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
According to company info, the new agreement will garner $30 million in incremental business. "This extended contract joins several other multi-year contract renewals and extensions with other major retail clients, valued at over $1.5 billion in revenues, as announced by the Corporation in June 2012," reads a release.
According to a June release, the previous contract renewals came from a mix of long standing customers and from the customer base TC acquired following its acquisition of Quad/Graphics Canada.
Transcontinental specializes in print and digital media, with products including magazines, newspapers, books, mass and personalized marketing, and custom content. It has around 9,500 employees in North America.
