Ernest Green & Son acquires Extreme Media Solutions, adds staff
MISSISSAUGA—Ernest Green & Son (EGS), a large national distributor, has acquired Extreme Media Solutions.
Joining Ernest Green is the owner of Extreme Media, Carol Husband, and a salesperson. Husband will serve as regional manager for Alberta "primarily responsible for developing our wide format equipment and consumable sales in the commercial graphic arts market in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba," noted Doug Green, president and chief operating officer of EGS.
Green noted Husband has more than 15 years in the industry and was the first HP authorized Canadian female technician to install and service latex printers.
Husband joins the wide format team lead by Mike Wildbore, national business manager for wide format equipment.
Also joining EGS recently is Gavin Cameron, who worked for ND Graphics for seven years. He will be responsible for selling wide format consumables in Ontario.
The company also held an open house in June for customers and friends. One of the attractions of the day was a truck wrapping demonstration on the premises.
EGS has been in business over 61 years providing offset, flexo and wide format solutions to the industry.
