Manroland sheetfed names CEO for North America
WESTMONT, IL—Michael Mugavero has been named the Manroland sheetfed managing director/chief executive officer for Canada and the U.S.
Mugavero initially joined Manroland sheetfed in 1992 and rejoined the company in 2007. He has served as a regional sales manager, general manager, and vice president of sales.
"In light of the economic challenges the market has faced in recent times, we believe a more engaged consultative approach will translate into helping customers make better strategic investment decisions and achieve better bottom line results," said Mugavero in a release.
Manroland has battled some tough times recently. After beginning insolvency proceedings in November, L. Possehl & Co., based in Lübeck, Germany, purchased the web press operations of the former manroland AG in February 2012, while British engineering group Langley Holdings has taken control of Manroland's sheetfed printing equipment division.
