Baldwin Paper in restructuring mode
MISSISSAUGA—Baldwin Paper in Mississauga has reportedly filed for creditor protection.
Bruce Baldwin, president of Baldwin Paper, responded to an inquiry from PrintCAN on Thursday. While he did not confirm the company had filed for protection, he noted in an email, "Baldwin is restructuring and business continues as usual here."
Further attempts to contact the president have been unsuccessful.
Baldwin Paper describes itself as "Canada's leading paperboard sheeter and converter" and was founded in 1961. In 1987, Baldwin opened The Sheeting Edge, "the very first stand-alone sheeting operation servicing our customers who wished to purchase mill direct".
