August exports rise from July's numbers
OTTAWA—August exports rose from July's $72.6 million while imports also showed an increase during the same timeframe. However, exports are still lagging behind last August's total of $81.6 million. Imports in August last year were significantly higher than the same month this year, however the trade balance up until August of this year is more lopsided than last year's to-date tally.
