Lowe-Martin partners with Carbonzero to reduce emissions
MISSISSAUGA—The Lowe-Martin Group has partnered with Carbonzero, who will be the printer's official carbon offset provider.

Carbonzero will assist the printer in reducing its fiscal 2010 operational emissions, enabling the offset of greenhouse gas emissions from Lowe-Martin's Mississauga office and printing facilities, noted Carbonzero.

"After completing our GHG (greenhouse gas) inventory, conserving where we could, and implementing more environmentally-friendly alternatives like 100% renewable electricity, it made sense for Lowe-Martin to partner with Carbonzero to neutralize the remaining emissions," said Ward Griffin, president and CEO of Lowe-Martin.

Carbonzero was founded in 2006 and assists organizations and governments prepare for the "low carbon economy." The Lowe-Martin group was founded in 1908.
