Ottawa business adds new HP printer
OTTAWA—The addition of a new printer has allowed an Ottawa business to move away from traditional methods while increasing its bottom line, said a company spokesman.

Grafik Visuals in Ottawa provides property management companies with a variety of signage. The family-run business recently added an HP Designjet L25500 Printer to its fleet and has already experienced benefits.

“A property management customer needed to replace signage identifying mechanical and electrical rooms in a government building. Traditionally we would use screen printing, but our HP Designjet L25500 Printer allowed us to personalize each sign and include individual numbers on each,” said Doug Blaine, partner, Grafik Visuals.

The HP uses Latex technology, which “does not require ventilation and we were able to install the unit without having to modify our shop,” said Mark Blaine, partner, Grafik Visuals. “The unit has helped us replace outside sources giving us control over the quality and timeliness of our work. The biggest benefit we’ve seen is an increase in our margin.”
