MISSISSAUGA—Trade printer Quality Offset Printers has filed a Notice of Intention to make a proposal to restructure its business under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act to its creditors. BDO Canada has agreed to act as the Trustee under the proposal.

Quality Offset Printers is expected to file a proposal November 18, but it may apply to the courts for an extension.

Quality Offset Printers, with a staff of just under 40, has been in business since 1988 and is operating with minimal staff while it “winds down operations,” according to a source at BDO Canada. Calls to the company were not returned.
