Rhino Printing Solutions launches print on demand
VANCOUVER—Rhino Print Solutions, a privately held company with manufacturing operations in Vancouver and Calgary has announced the launch of a digital print division, Rhino Pronto!
Company president and CEO David Allan says it launched the digital division because of the need for printers to reinvent themselves. “We felt the shift toward the digital market offered some very attractive opportunities to bring our high-quality G7 colour orientation into the digital game,” he says. “We thought rather than be another traditional printer that offers digital it was important to be able to compete directly with the digital-only players out there.”
Rhino has added a Kodak NexPress 2100 5 colour press and a HP Indigo 5500 6 colour press to launch the new division. Rhino Pronto! will serve western Canada as well as Seattle, says Allan.
