Printing Industries Sector Council secures funding for more positions
OTTAWA—The Canadian Printing Industries Sector Council has announced it has received additional funding for seven more Career Focus positions.
Applications for the program will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Employers who meet the eligibility criteria established by the federal government will be required to guarantee a minimum of four months of continuous employment for a new or recent graduate who must work at least 30 hours per week. In return, employers will receive a subsidy representing one third of the new employee’s total wage, up to a maximum of $12,750 per employee.
