New general manager helming Eastend Bindery
TORONTO—George Civello, son of one of the founders of Eastend Bindery, has taken over the reigns at the company following the retirement of owners Ray and Nat Civello.

New general manager George Civello

George, who returned to the trade bindery after several years as a creative director for Collega International (Canadian Aveda distributor), says a big focus will be on how to re-shape a trade bindery for the future, moving away from a price-driven model, and positioning the company as a partner that gets involved at the beginning of a project. One of his plans is to bring employees on board who bring a broader spectrum of skills to the operation.

Eastend Bindery was founded in 1974 and today employs about 70 staff.
