Allprint Ainsworth to file for bankruptcy?
KITCHENER—Allprint Ainsworth Associates, a commercial printer with roots that go back to the 1950s, has filed a notice of intention under the Bankrutcy and Insolvency Act, reports the Waterloo Record.
It's unclear from the filing on Feb 5 if the company will propose to pay off creditors, seek creditor protection or file for bankruptcy. Klaus Ertle, president, was not availale to comment when contacted by PrintCAN..
A. Farber & Parners, in Toronto, is the trustee in the case.
Allprint Ainsworth was listed as No. 70 on Graphic Monthly's Gold List, the ranking of the top 100 printers in Canada. It reported sales of $12 million in 2008 with 81 employees. It offers a full gamut of services from commercial printing, to packaging, digital, large format inkjet, fulfillment and mailing.
