Rhino Print gets greener
VANCOUVER/CALGARY—The Vancouver and Calgary offices of Rhino Print Solutions will now be powered by Bullfrog Power, a company that provides "green electricity" from wind turbines and certified, low-impact hydro facilities. This is the latest in a series of green initiatives taken by Rhino, a commercial printer specializing in advertising and marketing.
The company became FSC-certified in 2005 and a partnership with Metro Waste Paper Recovery Inc. helped save 12,000 trees in 2008. It also recycles all plates, cardboard, paper and vegetable based ink, and has stopped using bottled water and paper coffee cups.
“Rhino is always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact,” stated David Allan, president and CEO of Rhino Print Solutions. “We are proud to be an FSC-certified facility and now to choose 100 per cent low-impact renewable electricity from Bullfrog Power.”
