Walmart now offers printing
VANCOUVER—Small business owners and consumers looking for business cards, notepads, letterheads, envelopes, fliers and posters will soon be able to get them from Walmart. The chain of discount stores has partnered with PNI Digital Media to offer these and other printing products and services through its PhotoCentres.

Walmart Business Printing also offers services such as colour, black and white copy services and coil-bound printing services, as well as customized calendars, fridge magnets, golf balls and mugs, where businesses can place their logos or other promotional messages.

Orders can be delivered to homes or offices, or they can be picked at one of the 312 Walmart stores across Canada.

The printing will be outsourced to a number of third-party providers, a PNI representative told PrintCAN, with Edmonton-based Photo Gift World handling the majority of orders.

"These new services are an integral part of our commitment to provide our customers the best assortment of on-demand printing services," said Crystal Taylor, national manager for Walmart PhotoCentre, in a release. "Whether it is photo, photo gifts or business printing items, Walmart offers our customers great products at low prices.  Walmart PhotoCentre is much more than just photo printing."
