Archetype calls it quits
MARKHAM, ON—Archetype Press, a trade printer, closed its doors on Friday, owner Mark Campbell has confirmed to PrintCan.
The shop’s demise is attributed to slow business and to a series of clients that did not pay their bills, according to Campbell. As a trade printer, Archetype dealt mostly with brokers. The company employed 15 staff and generated between $3 million and $5 million in annual revenues.
A separate business, Archetype Bag Makers, also run by Campbell, will continue to operate.
