EFI Extends Reach
 
The company announced today an agreement with Heidelberg Canada to distribute the EFI Rastek  line of wide-format printers. Heidelberg USA and Heidelberg Canada are already distributing the VUTEk GS series of superwide format digital inkjet printers.
 
Under the new agreement, Heidelberg Canada will distribute EFI’s Rastek H650, H652, H700, T660 and T1000, as well as the Rastek EFI inks, parts, consumables, accessories and upgrades related to these printers. EFI will train and support the Heidelberg Canada team, enabling Heidelberg to sell, install, train and service customers independently.
 
"Earlier this year, Heidelberg USA (in January) and Heidelberg Canada (in July) began distribution of the VUTEk GS series of printers. By adding the Rastek entry-level and midrange solutions, Heidelberg Canada can now serve its full spectrum of customers with a wider range of solutions,” said Frank Mallozzi, senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, EFI. “We’re pleased to be part of the respected line of Heidelberg solutions. Rastek printers give Heidelberg customers yet another way to differentiate themselves in the marketplace.”
