LIECHTENSTEIN—  Fujifilm has boosted its inkjet offering with the acquisition of longstanding integration specialist Unigraphica. Systems integrator Unigraphica is based in Europe and has been in operation for close to 40 years. Unigraphica has nearly 900 customers worldwide in 65 countries, and has completed more than 1,600 projects involving printing, finishing and security printing. Its partners include Kodak, Muller Martini, Actega and Sicpa. Unigraphica’s JetStar inkjet modules are available in print widths from 108mm to 1,080mm for sheetfed and web applications in mono or colour. Fujifilm’s stated aim is to accelerate business growth “by building a global manufacturing structure that satisfies the needs of the inkjet market”.
