Cansel acquires Unisource’s bond paper operations
TORONTO—

Cansel has acquired the engineering bond paper converting operations and business of Unisource Canada, Inc., a Veritiv Company.

These include operations in Eastern Canada (Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador & Nunavut).

"This acquisition is a significant one for Cansel that further enhances our already comprehensive portfolio." Stephen Fletcher, vice president, Cansel, said.  "It aligns with our strategy to position Cansel as a market leader in eastern Canada by expanding our converting business in the region."

Cansel is a software, hardware and service provider to the engineering, surveying, construction, architecture, government and printing industries.

"This transaction allows Veritiv to focus on our core Commercial Print and Wide Format businesses," Jason Alderman, regional vice president - Canada for Veritiv Corporation, said. "And it allows for both companies to do what they do best while providing the best possible customer experience going forward."
