MISSISSAUGA—Konica Minolta has entered into an exclusive agreement with MGI’s Digital Graphic Technology division to co-market and service its entire line of MGI digital print products. MGI and Konica Minolta have worked together for almost two decades, the Canadian partnership beginning with the addition of MGI’s JETvarnish 3DS to Konica’s production print portfolio.


All of MGI’s products will be available through Konica, including, but not limited to the Meteor series of digital presses and the JETvarnish 3D line. MGI’s line can handle various substrates and formats, including foils and plastics, high precision and fully digital spot coating, embossing, hot foil and high-gloss applications.

The agreement is effective immediately. MGI and Konica have begun the process of executing a comprehensive rollout plan. Konica will provide MGI with market coverage across Canada, through its direct sales and service team, as well as its team of commercial print specialists.
