It is with great sadness that we inform you that Mike Shea, a life-time member of the printing industry, passed away suddenly February 16 2016.

Mike’s family would like everyone who knew him to remember the good, honest and caring man that he has always been. His family will forever remember him as an exceptionally loving and devoted father. Mike gave his entire business career to the printing industry.  He started at age 15 working in his father’s printing company in Montreal until his death working with his brother Bob, at the family run Digital Edge Print & Media in Mississauga.  During that 40-year span Mike was recognized as a leader and innovator in producing exceptional print on most presses available.  His ability to challenge the industry and machinery to produce unprecedented print results made him a go-to man for most printers in the GTA and beyond.  Addressing the challenges presented and creating new ideas on how to deliver unique print pieces was Mike’s strength.  Results achieved for his clients made him an extraordinary printer.  Mike is an unfailing example of perseverance and courage for his family and they are grateful for the values he has instilled.  He will be missed forever by his wife Kristina, his daughter Chloé, his siblings Bob, Kathy and Wendy and his entire family, relatives and within the industry.

In lieu of flowers you can donate to a fund setup for Mike’s daughter Chloé.  Please visit www.digitaledgeservices.ca for information on how to donate as well the opportunity to donate will be available at the Funeral Home.
