Pronto Reproductions expands business with Azura TE plates
MISSISSAUGA—Pronto Reproductions Ltd. has expanded its printing capabilities and increased its productivity by switching to Azura TE chemistry-free direct on press plates.

The Mississauga-based company provides a range of print, digital and finishing services, including offset, electronic prepress, binding and fulfillment.

With the new eco-friendly additions, Pronto aims to attract new clients.

"Since switching to Azura TE, the image is now visible on the plate prior to roll-up and allows our pressmen to shorten make ready times, and minimize paper waste," Jennifer Burlington, customer experience manager, Pronto Reproductions, said. "Azura also helps Pronto stay committed to our sound environmental practices by providing chemical-free, processless plates all while delivering superior quality."

The Azura TE is a thermal, negative-working plate designed for commercial sheet fed printing operations. It’s based on ThermoFuse technology and made its debut in 2004 at drupa.
