Sajo unveils new ink dispenser
CHICAGO—Ink equipment manufacturer Sajo Technologies premiered its new ink can dispenser technology for the sheetfed market at Print 13 in Chicago.

John Soppit, president and owner of the Montreal-based company, said the offset add-on does away with the the need to manually move ink from bucket to fountain, and is smaller in size and lower in price point than other devices on the market. It will become available for purchase in December, Soppit said.

One key feature is the consistency of weight placed on ink keys, ensuring less colour variance and need for adjustment. The tech is compatible with both conventional or UV inks, and works with either 2.5 and 5 kilo buckets whether plastic or metal. A rubber stopper lining ensures ink wipes off the can for easy cleaning.

In business since 1991, Sajo Technologies manufactures auxillary equipment for the printing industry, including ink levelers, agitators and fountain liners.
