Start the Press: Designers are embracing print, says Time article
LONDON, ENGLAND—Stop the press. Or rather, start it up.

Despite some recent talk suggesting otherwise, an article out of London, England on Time.com says there's a new generation of print designers who are not only embracing paper as a medium, but pushing its limits by creating "animated" magazine covers and even heat-activated pages.

Meanwhile, small magazine startups are being made possible through the fundsourcing site Kickstarter, while others have opened up subscription accounts through PayPal, noted the article.

Apparently, there's even an event called Printout! for hip young designers, and New York City will also soon have a similar event according to Time.
