InterTech Technology Awards announced by PIA
PITTSBURGH, PA—Eight "truly innovative" products that are expected to have a positive impact on the graphic communications industry have been announced by Printing Industries of America (PIA).

The PIA said the winners of its InterTech Technology Awards were chosen by an independent panel of judges. The winners for 2011 are:

NPES The Association  for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies (NPES coordinates U.S. representation to the ISO technical committee on graphic technology).

"Great strides in technology were demonstrated in packaging software, inkjet printing, workflow automation, offset press efficiency, UV curing, and variable-data printing," noted the PIA.
