C.J. Graphics wins big at Premier Print Awards
PITTSBURGH, PA—C.J. Graphics in Toronto won big in the printing industry's biggest awards program.

The Premier Print Awards, presented by Printing Industries of America (PIA), were announced July 21. Among the Canadian winners, C.J. Graphics won three best of category awards (Bennys) in service catalogues, magazine inserts and digital printing on-demand, while also receiving 11 awards of recognition and 24 certificates of merit.

Hemlock Printers in Vancouver won best of category for brochures and broadsides (large), and a certificate of merit in the same category, while Anstey Book Binding in Toronto received an award of recognition in the print/graphic arts self-promotion category. Kallen Printing in Calgary was best in category for booklets, and Metropolitan Fine Printers in Vancouver was tops in promotional campaigns (consumer) along with three awards of recognition and six certificates of merit.

The PIA noted there were "thousands of entries" for the competition, while the judges honoured 875 pieces with one of three awards (106 best of category, 200 awards of recognition, and 569 certificates of merit.)
