Imports from China peak
OTTAWA—The latest numbers from Statistics Canada say that exports looked to be picking up a little steam in September, but then limped again in October. Exports to the U.S. shrank back to $61.7 million, compared with $93.3 million last year. Imports from the U.S. topped $80 million, picking up some momentum since June. Imports from China peaked at $26.2 million, the highest of at least the last 24 months.
